Rocking Along With The Treesons: Toy Snap Of The Week

The TOYSREVIL Toy Snap Of The Week goes to J.E. Moores for his "Tresson Rocks" snap, featuring the collection of mini-Treesons including some released exclusively for last year's SDCC (blogged and dying for them *man-tear*) - along with accompanying miniature musical instruments, which appealed to me personally, as I used to be a huge somewhat-fanatical (tho never affirmed) collector of 1/

MyToyLife: Interview with Linda Le aka Vampy

Now we've featured Ms Linda Le aka VAMPY on TOYSREVIL numerous occasions, and even did an interview with her circa SDCC 2010 - but we know her mostly as a Cosplayer and a model. An average-joe male-geek (*raises-hands*) lives thru life being looked upon weirdly with his contemporaries, and longs for the attention of the fantasy female fellow-appreciator of the geek-arts, most times living a

Product Review: About That 3A Toy Catalog

I have always liked catalogs - specifically "toy catalogs", from the goodness outpouring of product in Playmobils, to even upcoming characters in Peecols - simple small-scaled pages showcasing similar themed-products, housed in the same box of toy you just bought. I reckon there is not enough toy-catalogs going on around the world at this moment, much less coming along free with toys you have

Coming Soon To TOYSREVIL: Toy Reviews. Really, I Mean It This Time...

Through the years I have montaged and pimped upcoming toy and product reviews, and admittedly, I might not have been able to post all of them (and even harder to do now, since most of them are "buried") - but further from being slack, I would insist I was being thorough - and you know what? "Thorough" doesn't cut it. "Thorough" doesn't get the toys-info out on time. And uncompleted posts simply

That’s when Kenji discovers his “summer job” is to pretend to be Natsuki’s fiancĂ© and dance with her at the birthday celebration. As Kenji attempts to keep up with Natsuki’s act around her family, he receives a strange math problem on his cell phone which, being a math genius, he can’t resist solving. As it turns out, the solution to the mysterious equation causes a hijacking of the social networking site through which most of the world's social and business traffic flows.

Experiencing STGCC 2010 With TOYSREVIL

I don't know if it was my alternating eye-patched eyes, but the hall lighting for STGCC seemed a tad dark? The Heavy Metal Qee Project with Daniel Perry

New Directions for TOYSREVIL

In wording this blog article, the first title that popped into mind, was "New Directions" … then I realized I was just remembering an episode of Glee. Hey, I loved watching Glee (and am looking forward to it coming back to Cable on January 25th *pom-pom-toss*), and the titled was ultimately truer than I give credit for. Things have changed "post-Stroke" (for now), and the life (both real-world

Toy Snap Of The Week: Shu Qi with Qee

What can I say? I don't really care for the Qee, or the design of which/whom/when held in her fingers, but Chinese actress Shu Qi (who is holding it btw) will always remain a "dream girl" for me. As for how I got to know of her, well, hot-blooded males may have their theories, but I will never tell … Image swiped from Toy2R Raymond Choy's Facebook.

About That I Eat Toys Flickr-Group

Today I present an example of an "internet social experiment" I had concocted yolks ago, that has since failed, and fallen flat on it's web-face. In the early balmy hours of September 2nd, a scant 4 years ago in 2007, there came unto the internet-realms: "I EAT TOYS"…I had started a flickr-group (and woe-begotten Facebook group and even a blog!) simply titled I EAT TOYS. The simple premise was

About That Mind Your Mechtorians Flickr-group by TOYSREVIL

Personally, I reckon one of the most under-rated "production toys" to hit the display shelves, are Doktor A's MECHTORIANS Mini Figures. Quite a coup, I reckon, to see (and own) a steampunk-themed series of characters leave the production floor, IMHO (Wonder what happened to the other figures … hhhmmm).
